Making Kulhar tea at home is not only a wonderful culinary experience, but also a way to connect with Indian culture and its rich heritage of tea usage. This is how you can reproduce this trusted drink in your own kitchen.

Kulhad Tea Recipe: Trusted Indian Tea at Home

Material:

- 2 cups water

- 2 cups milk

- 2 teaspoons free dark tea leaves (Assam or Darjeeling are appreciated)

- 4-5 pieces of green cardamom, finely crushed

- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, finely chopped

- 2-3 whole cloves

- 1 cinnamon stick

- 2-3 tbsp sugar (as per taste)

- 4-5 kulhads (traditional clay cups)

Instruction:

1.Bubble Water and Spices:

     - Pour 2 cups of water in a pan and add crushed cardamom, ginger pieces, cloves and cinnamon.

     - Move the water into a changing bubble of medium intensity. Heating the flavors allows their flavor to soak into the water, creating a fragrant base for your tea.

2.Add tea leaves:

     - While the water is boiling, add the Free Dark Tea Pass to the pot.

     - Let the tea leaves steep in the water for about 2-3 minutes, so they can add their flavor to the mixture.

3 Add to milk:

     - After roasting tea leaves, add 2 cups of milk in the vessel.

     - Mix the mixture well to combine the milk with the prepared tea and flavor.

4.Improve with sugar:

     - Add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar to the tea mixture, varying the quantity as per your preference for pleasantness.

     - Mix well to ensure that the sugar dissolves completely in the tea.

5.Stew and strain:

     - Let the tea steep for 2-3 minutes, making sure no bubbles form.

     - Once the tea is at your ideal strength and flavor, remove the pot's intensity.

     - Using a strainer or tea strainer with a fine cross section, strain the tea into a separate holder to remove the tea leaves and all the flavor.

6.Serve in Kulhar:

     - Empty the strained tea into the kulhads, filling them about 3/4 full to leave room for the milk froth.

     - Optionally, you can sprinkle ground cinnamon or cardamom on top for added flavor and smell.

7 Enjoy!

     - Serve your new fermented Kulhar tea hot and enjoy the rich, sweet-smelling flavor that characterizes this quintessential Indian refreshment.

     - Pair your tea with your #1 bite or treat for the full experience of Indian tea culture.

Suggestions:

- Explore different methods regarding the ratio of water to milk to change the strength and smoothness of your tea as per your taste.

- Go ahead and change the flavors to suit your taste. You can add a little nutmeg or black pepper for a spicier tea, or reduce the amount of ginger for a milder tea.

- If you do not have a kulhar, you can serve your tea in a normal tea cup or mug. In any case, the use of kulhad adds an authentic touch to the experience and makes the tea shine longer.
